Brrr!  It is freakin' cold in the Big Apple and the cast of Gossip Girl is feeling the chill! 

We spotted Blake Lively in a long, puffy jacket to keep her warm between takes of the show.  Also on set were Ed Westwick and Penn Badgley who were a little braver in the cold.  Leighton Meester blocked out the cold winds (and our cameras) but of course her winter coat was more of a frock.

What were our thoughts on the "Thanksgiving Episode" of Gossip Girl last night? I, for one, was getting confused by the multitude of characters on the screen.  I think it should have been called the "Dad Episode" because all the dads were there and it was getting confusing.  The Captain's mustache?  Rufus letting Jennie pull a Macauly Culkin and emancipate herself from him?  Gay dad to be replaced by the dude from The Princess Bride?  And Bart Bass who is so obviously the same character as Caleb Nichol from The O.C. who is so obviously going to die (just like Caleb did in season 2) next episode?!  Enough already!  I think GG should have an old guy maximum for each episode.

               

My dear readers, each day I sort through thousands of photos and pick the cream of the crop because I love you all so much and I want you to have something nice to look at.  Well, today I stumbled upon an image of a man and the photo was tagged as such; "blue, velour, sweatpants" and that man is Ed Westwick.

Yesterday we spotted Ed in a head to toe, velour outfit.  Thats right, Chuck Bass was wearing a zip up velour top and matching velour pants that he paired with a paisley ascot and a pair of loafers.  I'm not sure if he's in character, out of character or somewhere in between but lord knows anything is possible on the set of Gossip Girl.

      

Madonna showed off her ever-expanding resume last night as she premiered her directorial debut Filth and Wisdom at the Sunshine Theater in New York City last night.

The comedy stars Gypsy punk rocker Eugene Hutz (from the band Gogol Bordello) as a Ukrainian immigrant named A.K., who finances his rock star dream by moonlighting as a cross-dressing dominatrix.

The Filth and Wisdom premiere was the place to be last night with the likes of Jessica Alba, Ed Westwick, Taylor Momsen, Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts and of course Leggings Lohan.

We spotted Ed Westwick getting a touch up on set yesterday.  Ed's character, Chuck Bass, has certainly gotten back into the swing of being mean again.  After a brief hiatus this week, Gossip Girl is all-new next week and we get to witness Chuck pulling Serena's strings as she and Blair throw some punches at their Yale visit! 

       

Word on the street is that Drew Barrymore and Ed Westwick were spotted "in a full-on make-out session" at Kings of Leon show in New York City last night!!!

Drew and Ed started their make out sesh in the balcony of Webster Hall and then made their way to the Bowery and Fat Cat Billiards where they met up with Chace Crawford, Ellen Page and Emile Hersch.

 "Drew was hanging all over Ed!" a witness tells Us Weekly, denying more reports that she had also smooched Crawford. "They were full-on making out!"

The source also added, "They were definitely all over each other. It was on!"

Steamy!  But this isn't the first time the two have hooked up, apparently the two were locking lips at the SNL cast party last Saturday night.

At 33, Drew is 12 years Ed's senior; cougar style!  In my opinion Ed should feel honored that he's being romanced by the likes of Drew, she's a cool chick.  Do you think this is a hot fling or a sure thing?

Please tell me you caught Gossip Girl last night?  If not I hope you, your friend or your momma DVRed that shit cuz it's gettin' goooood!

So many twists and turns that I didn't even see coming!  Bad Serena is coming back (f'reals this time) and she's the unknowing puppet of Chuck Bass in his attempt to bring down Blair!  I'm liking this side of Serena, manipulated or not.  I'm over Dan's self-righteous bs; who does he think is with all his morals and finger pointing, Brandon Walsh?

We spotted Jessica Szohr on the set of Gossip Girl yesterday, holding a red plastic cup-the universal symbol for keg parties!  Jessica, along with Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, Taylor Momsen, Leighton Meester (we know it's you behind that paper), Penn Badgley, Nicole Fiscella and Amanda Setton (Blair's cohorts) were all busy at work to bring you season two of GG!  How excited are you for the season premiere?! 3 days and counting...

             

Good Afternoon!  You may be sitting at your desk right now, probably eating some ho hum sandwich and a sad looking bag of chips, lucky for you I have something to spice that up!  Check it out ladies (and boyz), I offer you up a serving of Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick hot from the Gossip Girl set.  The fellas were busy filming scenes at Columbia University in New York yesterday; oooh, being collegiate is so hot!

       

We should be used to it by now...give up?  Leighton Meester, of course!  Leighton basically told us we could kiss her ass as she buried her face into her body guard on the set of Gossip Girl today.  Luckily Blake and Ed were a little bit less shy and gave us a preview of some of the great style we can expect next season; only two weeks away!

          

The weather was crazy in New York yesterday.  The sky went from blue to black to blue to black and finally back to a sunny sky by the end of the day, but the hail and strong wind weren't enough to stop the cast of Gossip Girl from going to work!  Ed, Penn, Leighton and Blake were all busy on set yesterday, filming scenes and hiding under umbrellas when they got a chance.  Are y'all excited for the the season premiere, less than a month away!
